Dinner to Benefit Pediatric MS Research

PediatricMSCenterlogoThe Second Annual Harvest Sunset Dinner, a fundraising event presented by the National Pediatric MS Center at Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital, will take place at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook on Thursday, November 17, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Proceeds from the event, which kicks off the Center’s “Season of Giving,” will support pediatric MS research at the Center.

The National Pediatric MS Center at Stony Brook, the first center of its kind in the U.S. to focus solely on children and adolescents with MS, provides a full range of medical and psychosocial support to children and their families.

The honoree for the Harvest Sunset Dinner is Rosanne Rogé for her outstanding commitment to MS causes. Rogé is the Managing Director of Client Services at R.W. Rogé & Co. Advisor One named her one of 2011’s 50 most influential women in wealth management nationwide.

In addition, award presentations will be made to Maria Milazzo and Patricia Melville, who will be recognized for their tireless efforts on behalf of their patients at the MS Care Centers at Stony Brook.

Paul Anthony of WALK FM will MC the event, which includes a live auction and raffles.

Tickets are $80 per person. Sponsorships are also available, including Platinum ($5,000), Benefactor ($2,500), Gold ($1,000), and Friend ($500) categories.
