Lee E. Koppelman, Ph.D., is Director of the Center for Regional Policy Studies and an internationally recognized expert in land use planning, environmental planning, and coastal zone management. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Long Island Regional Planning Board and has served as a consultant to the United Nations and several Federal agencies and departments. He is a member of the American Institutute of Architects and the American Planning Association, and the recipient of numerous distinguished service and leadership awards. He also has authored or co-authored 15 books related to regional planning.
