Stony Brook University Ranked as Best ROI in the Northeast by BestValueSchools.com

STONY BROOK, NY, February 26, 2014 - Stony Brook University gives students the best return on their investment for a college degree in the entire Northeast region of the U.S., according to BestValueSchools.com, an independent higher education ranking website that helps the public “get the most value in a college or graduate degree.”

BestValueSchools.com recently published a series of free articles that ranks U.S. colleges and universities for Best Expected Return on Investment (ROI) across four geographic regions. The site ranks dozens of top national schools based on data from a number of sources, including U.S. News and World Report and PayScale.comBestValueSchools.com states: “It comes as no surprise that the highest ROI for both in and out of state students in the northeastern region comes from the state of New York. The State University system in New York is well known to be one of the best in the United States. Stony Brook, NY is located on Long Island Sound, making it well positioned for students who wish to study in close proximity to one of the world’s major financial centers.”
